Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026
Altitude is a CRM and marketing platform operated by Scalevate Marketing LLC ("we", "us"). Marketing agencies and their clients ("customers") use Altitude to manage contacts and leads, send and receive messages, run forms and funnels, and schedule appointments. This policy explains what data Altitude handles, why, and the choices you have.
1. Data we collect
- Account information: name, email address, login details, and settings of people who use Altitude.
- Contacts and leads: information our customers import or capture through Altitude forms, funnels, and the optional website tracking snippet, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, form answers, and pages visited on the customer's website.
- Messages: SMS, email, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram messages sent or received through Altitude.
- Call data: call logs such as phone numbers, times, durations, and, where enabled, recordings.
2. Data from Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
When a customer connects their Facebook or Instagram account, Altitude may access, with the permissions the customer approves:
- The list of Facebook Pages (and linked Instagram accounts) they manage;
- Leads from their Facebook lead ads (using the
leads_retrievalpermission); - Messages sent to and from their Page and Instagram account;
- Basic ad performance insights for their ad accounts.
We use this data only to deliver these features to the customer who connected it: showing their leads and messages in Altitude, letting them reply, and showing their ad results. We never sell this data, never use it for advertising profiling, and never share it with other customers.
3. Google Calendar data
If a customer connects Google Calendar, Altitude reads and writes calendar events only to keep appointments in sync between Altitude and their calendar. Use of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. How we use data
We use data to provide and run Altitude, deliver messages, sync integrations, keep the service secure, provide support, and fix problems. We do not sell personal information.
5. Service providers (subprocessors)
We share data only with providers that help us run Altitude, and only as needed:
- DigitalOcean – hosting, storage and backups;
- Twilio – SMS, phone calls and SMS sign-in codes;
- Resend and Brevo – sending email (sign-in codes, invitations, reports, and our customers' emails to their contacts);
- Anthropic – AI features (for example, drafting replies and the AI assistant);
- Meta – Facebook and Instagram features (lead ads, Messenger and Instagram messages);
- Google – Google Calendar sync and sign-in with Google services our customers connect.
We may also disclose data if required by law (see section 10).
6. Cookies
- Essential cookie: Altitude sets one login session cookie to keep you signed in and protect your account. It is required for the app to work and is not used for advertising.
- Optional visitor tracking (set by our customers): agencies and businesses that use Altitude can add a tracking snippet to their own websites and use Altitude funnels and booking pages. These may set cookies or similar storage to count page visits, remember a visitor's chat, and connect form submissions to a contact. They can also load the customer's own tracking tools (such as a Meta pixel). Customers can show a cookie-consent banner so visitors can accept or decline; that customer controls this data and its own cookie notice.
7. Retention
We keep data while a customer's account is active or as needed to provide the service. When a customer deletes data or closes their account, we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep it longer by law.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), password hashing, access controls, and signature checks on incoming webhooks. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing jesus@scalevatemarketing.com. If you are a contact of one of our customers, we may forward your request to that customer, who controls that data. See our Data Deletion page for details.
10. Government and law enforcement requests
If a government agency or other public authority asks us for personal data, including data we receive from Meta:
- Legal review. We review every request to confirm it is valid, issued by an authorized authority, and legally binding before we respond.
- Challenging unlawful requests. We push back on or challenge requests that are overly broad, unclear, or that we believe are unlawful, using the legal options available to us.
- Data minimization. When we must comply, we disclose only the minimum information legally required.
- Records. We keep a record of each request, our response, the legal reasoning, and who was involved.
- Notice. Where the law allows, we notify the affected customer before disclosing their data.
11. Children
You must be 18 or older to use Altitude. Altitude is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
